This is real celebration time. From 2nd to 4th August we joined International Leadership Institute to celebrate 20 years of ministry in equipping leaders for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
During the History Makers National conference in May 2012, the vision of reaching young people with the Gospel of Jesus through sports was birthed in Paul Maina while he was in Second year at the University. Paul later joined our team and has led our Sports evangelism team in reaching young people through sports.
On 25th day of this month of August the sports team will be hosting the first 10KM run for water marathon.
The marathon will be raising funds towards the second phase of our relocation project, drilling the borehole that will provide water for the rest other coming phases of the project and the community, which also experiences water shortages. This phase of the project will cost us Kshs.3000,000.
Please consider sponsoring an athlete with a gift of Kshs. 1,000 for an adult, a community child and Kshs. 500 and a child from GOA home at Kshs. 1500 to run for water. The gift of Kshs. 1500 will help transport the child from GOA Home to the venue of the marathon provide snacks for them, register them to run and transport them back to their home.
